This, and with the amount of corruption in the legal system there’s a chance they might very well get away with it. I know this is just an addition to the case, but it brought it to mind again for me.
What this amounts to is: “We don’t like the law, so let’s just ignore it [...]

Many of the muffins are rapidly losing faith in Emilie Autumn. Maybe this has something to do with it. Tracks on the upcoming Girls Just Wanna Have Fun/Bohemian Rhapsody EP (alphabetical, not real order):
Asleep (Live)
Bohemian Rhapsody
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (Asylum Edit)
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (Teatime Edit)
Girls Just Wanna Have [...]

After Jay pointed it out to me, I noticed that the last two posts were showing up as having been written by Codeman. While it would be cool to actually see Codeman around here again, he’s not writing at the moment - those two posts are both by me (Pacdan). I was logged into the [...]

OK, so Rapidshare seem to have decided to drop the absolutely ridiculous cat vs. dog CAPTCHA’s. Good, right? Not with what they’ve come up with for a replacement:
What the heck is that? Pseudo-3D landscape CAPTCHA? Why do they expect us to put up with this crap when there’s many better services out there, some without [...]

And you can’t figure out why it’s quite that low - 11 GB of temp files certainly makes quite a difference.

Because now it’s mosquito season, and I have at least five bites…probably more.

Windows Media Player (11) takes 14 seconds to add a song to my playlist. 14 full seconds (I really timed it). Isn’t that just a little bit ridiculous? Add it to my long list of complaints with the program, it’s still not going to stop me from using it (at least not yet). Still seems [...]

Is nothing sacred anymore? Why did the History channel feel the need to get so damned political??? Is there no escape from this madness? I mean, that’s what you’re supposed to be able to watch while there’s nothing on without it being actually involving, basically as background noise. This is absurd!
PS: Yes, I did write [...]

Another one of the stranger errors I’ve seen: “An expected exception has occurred.” If you’re expecting the exception, couldn’t you put in an error catcher or something. Or are you just trying to make me nutty?

I’m now upgraded to the newest version of WordPress (long overdue) courtesy of Jay. The bad news is, they completely redid the dashboard interface and it was so, so, so incredibly much better before. I guess I’ll go with it, though - nothing I can do. I’ll probably get used to it after a while [...]

That is not a CAPTCHA. That is retarded. How is anyone ever supposed to read it, not to mention picking out only the letters that have a cat on them, which was a stupid idea to begin with. I had nothing against CAPTCHA codes, back when they were short and readable, but the system has [...]

That programmers these days are completely incompetent when the little application that goes with the fingerprint scanner manages to be using over 1GB of RAM. No lie. I have no idea how you manage to do that, but it’s pretty damned ridiculous.

Wayne, unless it’s just me, your hosting sucks. Half the time when I try to load your page it times out, and right now I’m trying to leave a comment and it’s just stuck in infinite loading. I know there’s nothing that can be done about it, but we already had two complaining posts and, [...]

I have stomach bug of some sort.

In my fucking face. What wasn’t dead before certainly deserves to be now, and it looks like my video card and the wireless receiver for my keyboard and mouse were already toasted. Why me? Why me? Why me? And it smells like burnt power supply in here again (for the uninitiated, it’s a fucking vile [...]

And at the most inconvenient of times, too. And I bet none of my documents are on my flash drive either, or my external HD, because, of course, they wouldn’t be…just to annoy me. I really need to start keeping web backups, or something. Or at least putting stuff up on Google docs to use [...]

While putting cats and dogs over your CAPTCHA’s may make them harder to read by automated programs, it also makes them near impossible to read (at least in some cases) by normal people - so please knock it off.
Yours sarcastically,

Too much…won’t stop…bloody annoying…overtired.
Perfectly coherent sentence there, BTW.

You’re not going to find Emilie Autumn’s Laced/Unlaced for cheap, unless you want it as a download (in which case try Amazon’s music download service). Heck, Emilie Autumn and cheap really shouldn’t be used in the same sentence. It’s simple economics, she has a product she knows people (myself included) will pay ridiculous amounts of [...]

So apparantly a certain uncle I don’t actually have is still complaining about a certain post that never happened on a blog that doesn’t exist, even though if said post had ever existed on said fictitious blog it would have been gone for most of a day now, that is if it ever existed, which [...]

When I thought I finally might actually be getting close to finish my music megapost (OK, maybe not, but it’s coming along), I now find out that we’re all going to die tomorrow, and thus I won’t ever get the chance.
Feb 23
So, yeah…basically one of the people who I absolutely have to write about in my upcoming music article *shameless reminder* no longer has my two favorite songs on his site and I am about five degrees beyond annoyed. I just needed a minute to rant.
Update: Make that my three favorite of his songs. I think [...]

What could cause a computer to only recognize the sound card (actually motherboard sound) only intermittently (i.e. sometimes you start the computer and it works fine, sometimes it doesn’t recognize the device). Usually if it’s not working, just restarting will get it to go, though there have been a couple of times I had to [...]

The Emilie Autumn signed Your Sugar Sits Untouched poetry book and accompanying CD, the last seven of which just finished being sold on eBay, simply because I didn’t have $400 to spend on it. I was fine up to $350, convinced myself up to $375 but just couldn’t make the $25 leap to $400 even. [...]

Should just be jettisoned into another dimension. I love the original and I love SVU, but Criminal Intent is just annoying and USA has started showing it way too much. I’ve resorted to watching CSI yet again because that stupid show is on USA and I’ve seen the episode of the original Law & Order [...]

At least we wouldn’t have to deal with this bullshit. An ad for Hitler Hilary Clinton immediately followed by an ad for Barack Obama. I despise politics. Actually I just despise advertising in general, but political advertising is even worse.

Are an evil invention in that they force you to buy it “right now” rather than “at some future point when I may have money,” the latter of which usually equates to never actually buying it. Anyways, I’ve ordered the Limited Edition of Emilie Autumn’s A Bit of This And That, basically the obligatory rarities [...]

First, for anyone who is considering buying an MP3 player, I unconditionally recommend Creative brand products. I’ve had my 30GB Nomad Zen Xtra for more than 3 years and it still works perfectly, quite a feat for a hard drive based drive. Anyway, that’s not what I’m here to discuss, though I wish I’d never [...]

Shoddy AI programming. Actually, there’s a very good excuse…AI is pain in the ass, but my point is if you can’t complete a mission after 15+ tries (Avalanche in campaign mode in Unreal Tournament 3) because 3 AI teammates can’t hold down a node that you could have held all by yourself, there’s a problem. [...]

Super Smash Bros. Brawl has been delayed yet again, this time to March 9th. I think they need to rename this one Super Smash Bros. Forever, and maybe they’ll actually get it out the door before Duke.
