Definitely Not Part of the Media Overload Generation
Written by Pacdan
It’s not like I’m watching TV, listening to music and writing a paper at the same time. Nope, I’d never be doing anything like that.
Update: Two-line titles look awful in this theme. I’ll have to remember to avoid that in the future.

Heh. I could never watch TV and do something like a paper or studying at the same time. Music, though, that can be mandatory for clearer focus.
I do tend to bounce between things, like today when I was editing a web page offline, registering for an invitation-only, high end business networking site, and then bouncing in and out of the kitchen and blogs. The two web things didn’t require the focus of, say, writing a resume or a paper or composing/designing a more complex, from scratch web page, or whatever.
Deb always says that if she sees lots of blog posts from me she knows I’m getting a lot done work-wise, which is often but not universally true. It IS liable to make me think of things to remark about, if I am busy working on this and that, which would lead to extra posts interspersed with work. It’s also true that if you barely see anything from me for an extended time, I’m as likely to be in a funk as to be too busy in the useful sense.
Two-line titles usually suck. I try to avoid them. Worse if they are barely two, as opposed to two full lines.
I used to do better at my homework if I had the TV on to distract me from stressing to much over what I was doing. Parents have a hard time understanding this though. I have also read a book while watching TV and managed to keep track of what was going on in both.
