I apparently lost my lunch money out of my pocket during my first class. I suspect it fell out when I took out the USB cable that was in the same pocket, though it could have happened even earlier than that, since I don’t think it was there when I grabbed said cable. I went back to look, having realized it was missing before I was even out of the building, but couldn’t find it. That left me stuck with only $3.74 emergency money to get lunch with, which meant two chicken soft tacos and nothing to drink. Now I’m hungry and can’t even get coffee before my absurdly long class at 2:00.

So you lost money from the pocket, had only that much extra in your backpack, and don’t keep any stashed in your car so you can walk back to it in a pinch.
